Best Western Laegreid Hotell

The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. There was a sitting area which was nice. The hotel was very nicely located in the center of town and was great for walking around. Very close to the dock where you can pick up the ferry to Bergen. Close to several restaurants and walking distance to bus stop, which we needed once although we had a car.

Good hotel with an old world charm and spacious rooms.. Rooms are probably a bit dated, but decently maintained. Very good location in Sogndal.

My recent stay at Best Western Laegreid Hotell was a delightful experience overall. The food's excellent quality, variety, and freshness impressed us. We were pleasantly surprised by the presence of USB-A and USB-C ports next to the bed, making it incredibly convenient to charge our electronic devices without adapters or searching for outlets. Such thoughtful details showcased the hotel's commitment to a comfortable and modern stay. Moreover, there is free parking in front of the hotel from 17:00 until 8:00, adding to the convenience and value of the stay. Overall, Best Western Laegreid Hotell exceeded our expectations, with its cleanliness, stylish interior design, extensive breakfast options, and convenient amenities. We would gladly choose this hotel again in the future. For a well-maintained hotel with a touch of American flair, this is an excellent choice.

The hotel was just a short walk away from the bus station and a few minutes away from the Fjordstien- the coastal walking path. The staff was very helpful- even helped me to book taxis to go and visit the Urnes Stave church. The room was really spacious and clean.

The staff is always nice, polite, and helpful. The hotel is comfortable and well decorated. I particularly enjoy the style of the lobby and the rooms, much more so than the cold ultra-modern hotels we see too often nowadays.
